Aidan is a lifelong Trafford resident, and was first elected to represent Bucklow-St Martins Ward following a council by-election in September 2017.

Aidan was educated at the University of Lancaster, prior to completing further postgraduate study at the University of Manchester and DeMontfort University. Since leaving education Aidan has worked at a number of different organisations providing council and social housing in Greater Manchester, and he currently works managing front-line services at a Housing Association in Salford.

Aidan is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing, and is proud to be a member of UNISON. Following the 2018 local elections Aidan was appointed as Vice-Chair of the Council’s Planning and Development Management Committee.
