Anne has lived in Trafford for 20 years and was elected as a Councillor for Longford Ward in 2011.

Anne has worked in Social Housing Management since 1995 and is currently Head of Housing Access at Northwards Housing in Manchester, a post she has held for 12 years.

Anne has carried out a number of roles over the past 7 years within Trafford Labour Group at Trafford Council including being shadow executive member for Transformation and Resources as well as sitting on Scrutiny and Licensing Committee.  Since May 2018 Anne has been Chair of Licensing and is also a member of the Health Scrutiny Committee. Anne is also a school governor at Seymour Park Community Primary School in Old Trafford.

Anne is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and a member of Unison.
